Olivia comes from a performance background, training in drama and then going on to drama in education and working in a range of educational settings before finding herself in early years. With a natural flare for the arts, Olivia saw that despite the nature of young children the sector was lacking in true creativity. Olivia supports settings through training seminars and workshops, improving storytelling and giving practitioners the confidence to offer rich literacy provision. Alongside this she connects with families on the ground through being an active practitioner and preschool leader as well as running classes for under fives in West Yorkshire. Through social media Olivia shares the many aspects of being a parent and educator and aims to support parents and practitioners to make small changes to improve communication and language in young children through a love of stories.
