Gemma has been working with children in early years since 2009. She is just as passionate and committed about providing essential support and knowledge for children and their parents as she was back in 2009. Gemma's career started in an outstanding nursery. Gemma was honoured to have won Newcomer of the Year at the Nursery World Awards due to her dedication to learning for all children. Since leaving Nursery care, Gemma ran a successful child development class for 10 years, working with a leading expert in neurological science. Finally in 2021, Gemma created her own award winning imagination and sensory child development programme, Pure Imaginations . Pure Imaginations allows children to learn through play, as well as providing parent advice on how to encourage and nurture their little one's learning. During this time Gemma had lots of parents ask for help with extreme behaviour such as: aggressive behaviour like biting, hitting, screaming etc; separation anxiety where parents had ZERO alone time; helping with speech or and successfully supporting their child achieve developmental milestones. Parents asked because no one was listening to them and they trusted Gemma to give them what they desperately needed; simple, straight forward advice that actually works every single time.Gemma is dedicated to providing support and knowledge to parents and professionals on how to give children environments where they can truly thrive. Whether this is encouraging learning through play, or supporting children and families who are struggling with extreme and challenging behaviour.
